Purpose of audience profiling for your campaign
We will have a clear understanding of who we are aiming our campaign at, therefore finding out: Beliefs, Interests and values. Alongside this we can tailor the content to suit our target audiences. As we know what area our campaign is based in means we would know the interests, beliefs, values of the area we are able to add this into our research. The use of primary and secondary research has helped with the purpose of the audience profiling as we are able to see what audience, demographic and psychographic would be interested in watching our campaign advert and may be experiencing the topic we are doing.
Using research data to develop a profile.
We researched Primary and Secondary research to develop a profile so we as campaigners can get a little idea about bullying and what other campaign’s do to try to stop bullying. The Primary Research helped us because we got some answers from people in our class, who are the same age group as our target audience, this is affective because we can have an idea of what they think about bullying and what they would do if they witnessed bullying. Secondary research helped us because we got to see what other campaigns and charities do.
Good :)
